Sourcing & Manufacturing Production Implementation/Manufacturing Partnership As the product and engineering development process comes near completion we move into product implementation stage. This means coming into contact with potential suppliers, toolmakers and manufacturers, obtaining samples and parts/tool quotes. In some instances we start working with manufacturing facilities on prototyping stage. This allows future manufacturer of the product to become familiar with the product long before tooling and molding process begins. Feedback from manufacturing and sourcing contacts may necessitate certain modifications and adjustments of the design.
